Colibri cosmetics is a skincare brand in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. The products are based on natural vegan raw materials and are not animal tested.
Having just updated their formula, this was an optimum time for rebranding.
The goal was to strategize a brand shift, in updating their packaging to reflect the premium level the products had reached.
The challenge was to still keep the design recognizable to the customers but at the same time to create a packaging which present the current values of the brand.
Based on the word "effective", part of their motto "Natural, effective & vegan", in german "Natürlich, wirksam & vegan", I created a series of icons/illustrations which represent the skin and the effect of the products on it. The centered alignment of the text on the bottom is in all products at the same level , while the logo and the colors remain the same.
On the following pictures, are some of the products of colibri cosmetics which were produced in 2020, and a logo proposal not accepted, as the brand decided to keep the existing version.
This project was done during my work as an in house designer.
